The convenience centers are open from 7 am till 7 pm except on Sunday. They may be closed on some holidays and may close early on some holiday eves.
Ashe county requires residents to bring their garbage and recyclables to convenience centers as their is no garbage pickup outside towns and burning garbage is not allowed in N Carolina.
Visitors are also allowed to deposit household garbage at these centers.
